WE DO LOVE MOTHERS

Whether it's the "mother of the bride" or the "mother of the groom" we love working with them in creating a gown that's just right for their figure type and personality.  It's something that the manufacturers don't understand with their "cookie-cutter" mom's dresses.

We recently created a special look for mother of the groom Kathy [left].  The little raspberry A-line silk dupioni street-length dress was strapless.  We added a little shrug for the ceremony.

Our other mom, Barbara, purchased a wonderful lime green knit sweater and shell, but couldn't find the right skirt.  Her trip to Haberman Fabrics proved successful and she purchased a beautiful silk chiffon print that incorporated the green along with a teal blue.  We lined the skirt with a solid teal blue.  The skirt [a traditional circle skirt] was flattering because it brought the majority of the fullness to the bottom rather than to the hip area just as she wanted..
