Melanie and her mom travelled from Ohio to have her bridal gown created for her September 8th wedding.  She chose a beautiful ivory Duchesse Satin with a bodice accent of Alencon lace.  Although the process began with a full A-line shape skirt, part way through her fittings, Melanie thought she'd prefer a trumpet skirt.  This is one of the advantages of having a gown custom made.  Although we don't recommend drastic shape changes, it worked out for Melanie because there was enough fabric there to make it happen.
