HERE'S ONE WE REALLY LOVE

Liz was looking for a simple, but elegant gown.  She found one in our studio that we had made up for a fashion show last year.  She knew immediately that this was the one for her with just a couple of simple modifications.  The gown was made of a white Alencon lace with an ice pink silk satin [duchess]underfabric.

We added small lace pieces to the neckline and straps and a narrow ice pink belt just underneath the bust.

She loved the look, and so did we.

ANOTHER JUNE BRIDE IN FABULOUS LACE

Olivia dreamed of wearing a beautiful French lace gown on her wedding day.  On June 15, her dreams were realized as she walked down the aisle in ivory Alencon lace over ecru charmeuse

We love the free-floating skirt and train that gives such a romantic look.  Simple, but elegant.

Although there are many lace patterns from which to choose, this one is our favorite since the motifs are so random that it can be cut to the bride's size in an almost seamless manner, and looks amazing whether she be a petite or an elegant tall lady.  This lace originally was created for a prominent New York designer who had it designed on an extra wide loom so that the designer could make use of every inch of fabric in the cutting room.

We think Olivia made a fabulous choice in both lace and underfabric color.  The darker ecru underneath makes the lace "pop" so that all of the beautiful design detail can be seen.

One of our June Brides

June 22 was a magical day for Joanne. What a wonderful lady. We enjoyed our fitting sessions and shared many laughs together.

Joanne's dress was a natural color silk charmeuse bias cut; a look that not every bride can carry off with such grace and style. The halter top was trimmed with a soutache braid that went from the back of the neck and down around to the the low cut back at the waist.

We're looking forward to doing a photo shoot with Joanne when it's time to redo our marketing brochure.

We created a gown inspired by a Monique Lhullier design that we think took the best of the original design and added some of our own touches.

The center front of the dress features a facing scallop effect cascading from the center of the sweetheart neckline and continuing into the split just above the knee.

We used two different laces on the gown; an Alencon lace over a delicate reembroidered Chantilly.

The best part for the bride is that she didn't have to pay the $6500 price tag that came with the original dress. Our version saved the bride more than 50% of the salon price.
